Arsenal are set for one of their biggest transfer windows in the club’s history this summer. The Gunners are expected to spend around £200million on incomings, while a number of players are expected to depart the club as well, according to David Ornstein.

In defence, Neto will return to Bournemouth with his loan spell up at the end of the season. Mikel Arteta wants to replace the veteran with Spanish goalkeeper Joan Garcia.

Jakub Kiwior, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney are all expected to leave North London ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Kiwior is likely to return to Italy, Dortmund are leading the race for Zinchenko, while Kieran Tierney has an agreement in place to rejoin Celtic.

In midfield Thomas Partey hasn’t been offered a contract extension and will leave Arsenal this summer. Barcelona are showing serious interest in the Ghanian. Arsenal are looking to replace the experienced midfielder with Martin Zubimendi.

David Ornstein recently revealed Arsenal could see a notable player depart this summer, if they can secure their top targets: “I think if Arsenal are going to commit huge expense on a striker, and if Zubimendi gets done, it’s surely inevitable there needs to be resource raised from a sale or multiple.

“It wouldn’t shock me to see a notable player depart this summer but, at the time of writing, I don’t know who that might be.”

Fabio Vieira will return from his loan spell in Portugal, but it’s currently undecided whether he will get another chance under Mikel Arteta next season. With the rise of Ethan Nwaneri, chances for the Portuguese midfielder will be harder to come by.

In attack, Raheem Sterling will return to Chelsea with Arsenal looking to make two significant signings in that area of the pitch. Top targets Benjamin Sesko or Alexander Isak will cost the club upwards of £100million, while a new winger is also on the list ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
