Arsenal are among the clubs monitoring Brazilian winger Raphinha, who has been in stellar form for Barcelona this season.
The 28-year-old has long been on the Gunners’ radar, with the North London club previously attempting to sign him during his time at Leeds United. However, despite their interest, he opted for a move to Spain, where he has since established himself as a key figure at Camp Nou.
Raphinha has been instrumental in Barcelona’s campaign, playing a crucial role as the Catalan giants compete for both La Liga and the Champions League. His consistent performances have further solidified his reputation, attracting renewed interest from European clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool.

Despite the speculation, Barcelona are keen to retain the winger as per TBR Football, and Raphinha himself remains committed to the club’s long-term project. Reports suggest that Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, has already initiated talks with Raphinha’s representatives regarding a contract extension, with the club prepared to offer him a substantial pay rise.

Currently, Raphinha is not among Barcelona’s highest earners, but given his form, he is set to be rewarded accordingly.

While Arsenal are expected to make another attempt to sign him at the end of the season, the prospect of luring him away from Barcelona appears challenging. The Spanish side sees him as a vital asset, with some at the club believing he could be a future Ballon d’Or contender if they secure Champions League success.
For Arsenal, Raphinha would provide a significant attacking boost as they continue to strengthen under Mikel Arteta. However, any move would require a convincing financial package and a strong sporting project to sway both the player and Barcelona.
With talks of a contract renewal progressing, Arsenal may face an uphill battle in their pursuit of the Brazilian star.
