Arsenal are set for one of their biggest transfer windows in the club’s history this summer. Fabrizio Romano has recently confirmed what many already know, that the Gunners will be in the market for a new centre-forward this summer.
Although Kai Havertz has performed to a very good level since making the move from Chelsea, he’s not the world class striker Arsenal need to fire them to their first Premier League title in over 20 years.
Kai Havertz is a great option to have, but he needs another striker the share the goal-scoring responsibility with next season. Mikel Arteta knows this better than anyone which is why he’s desperate to make contact early with his top targets.

Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko are Arsenal’s top two targets this summer. Newly appointed sporting director, Andrea Berta will be the man the Gunners put their faith in to get one of these deals over the line.

Fabrizio Romano speaking on Alexander Isak’s future: “So I don’t think this contrast story will really change his performances. He’s going to do his best for Newcastle till the end.
“But then we have to see what happens when Arsenal and Liverpool, because I expect these two clubs to arrive with important proposals in the summer.

“And at that stage, we have to see what the player decides to do and also what kind of conversation he will have with Newcastle.
“But on club side, they keep saying that they will try till the end to extend this contract, to keep the player and to make the face of their project also for the future. So I think it’s going to be a big fight in the summer for this fantastic striker.”
Many at Arsenal believe Alexander Isak is the man to help them get over the line in the Premier League next season. He’s scored vital goals for Newcastle this season to help them win their first trophy in 70 years and Mikel Arteta believes he could do the same in North London.
