William Saliba spoke to the media ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League clash against PSV tomorrow night. The Frenchman discussed his Arsenal future, the current campaign and his own performances this season.
The Gunners go into the match at the Emirates Stadium with a 7-1 lead over the Dutch side. Arsenal produced a magical performance in the Netherlands last week which has all but secured their place in the quarter-final of the competition.
Arsenal have had a poor campaign by their standard. Their title charge is all but dead with two months of the season still to play, as Liverpool currently sit 15 points above Mikel Arteta’s side.

The Gunners are also already out of both domestic cups, which only leaves the Champions League as potential silverware this season. They will face Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid in the next round of the competition following the conclusion of tomorrow night’s game.
Arsenal’s French centre-back spoke to the media earlier today where he insisted he’s happy in North London and has no intention to leave anytime soon.

William Saliba: “I’m very happy here. I’ve been here for two and a half years as well. There’s nothing to worry about. I’m happy here and I want to continue here.
“I’m a huge Arsenal fan. Playing here and scoring goals there is like a dream for me. I enjoy everything, every day, every game. That’s all.”
The 23-year-old also admitted he hasn’t been happy with his level of performances this season: “I played two great seasons with Arsenal, but I have to demand more from myself because, as I said, I am not happy with my level this season. But that is good because I know when I am good and when I am not good.”
William Saliba is already regarded as one of the best centre-backs in the world so it’s no surprise he demands more of himself than what we’ve seen this season.
The Arsenal centre-back will be looking to finish the campaign strongly to give the Gunners the best chance of still lifting silverware come May.
